Summer dance programs at the Jewish Community Center of Youngstown School of Dance begin in June.
“Guardians & Groovers” for ages 3 to 4 is from 4 to 4:45 p.m. Wednesdays from June 2 through July 21. The cost is $120 for JCC members and $150 for nonmembers. Children must be accompanied by a participating guardian.
“TikTok Dance Workshop” for kids ages 8 to 14 is from 11 a.m. to noon Saturday June 12. Participants will choreograph and perform their own age-appropriate TikTok dances. The cost is $20 for JCC members and $30 for nonmembers.
An improv/choreography workshop and a conditioning workshop, both for ages 12 to 16, will be from June 3 to July 22. The cost is $120 for JCC members and $150 for nonmembers.
Dance classes for those ages 16 and over include tap, modern, and ballet. They will run from June 2 through July 21. The cost is $120 for JCC members and $150 for nonmembers.

The Jewish Community Center of Youngstown School of Theatre is offering two improv classes beginning in June at the JCC, 505 Gypsy Lane.
"Make ‘em Laugh" Kids Improv Class for ages 9 to 14 is from 5 to 6 p.m. Wednesdays, June 2 through July 21. Participants will learn creativity through acting techniques and improv games with comedy improv actress Savannah Teter. The cost is $130 for JCC members and $150 for nonmembers.
“We Tried” Adult Improv Class is from 6:15 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesdays from June 2 through July 21. Participants will learn comedic improv techniques and stage presence. The cost is $120 for JCC members and $150 for nonmembers.

The Paul and Yetta Gluck School of Visual Arts at the Jewish Community Center of Youngstown is offering “Create A Comic Book,” a four week course for ages 13 to 17, in June at the JCC, 505 Gypsy Lane.
Participants will create a brand new superhero for their comic book world. All supplies are included. The class will meet from 4 to 5:30 p.m. Mondays from June 7 to 28.
