The Juliana Kurinka Children’s Play Area offers four play areas for children of all ages. The area includes Wet, Adventure, Sand, and Tot Playgrounds with equipment and features designed for interactive, physical, and social play. The Play Area is designed with family in mind as it offers designated areas with appropriately sized/designed play equipment for tots (ages 2-5) and older children (ages 5-12).

Mauthe Park - Struthers

174 Smithfield St, Struthers, OH 44471

Mauthe Park has an outdoor pavilion (Struthers Rotary Pavilion) equipped with picnic tables and barbecue grills. The pavilion overlooks a children's play area that has modern play equipment and swing sets for even the smallest children.


Yellow Creek Park - Struthers

Yellow Creek Park encompasses a lovely 76-acre gorge area in the heart of Struthers, Ohio and is operated by Mill Creek MetroParks. Visitors can enjoy hiking trails, picnic facilities, tennis, horseshoe, and basketball courts, and a playground. Experience the diversity of Yellow Creek Park as you hike its four challenging trails. The historic site of the Hopewell Furnace is accessible by trail when Yellow Creek levels are low. Shore fishing is permitted from March 1 – November 30.
