Description
The Canfield 4th of July Parade will be held on Monday, July 5, 2021 with the theme of “Together Again!”.
The committee is planning for a traditional parade that will line up at the Canfield Fairgrounds and proceed along S. Broad Street and around the Green. As of April 14, 2021, they have tentative permission to hold a traditional parade, and they are planning a ‘reverse’ parade as a backup plan. What that means is that all of the parade participants would be stationary along the streets at the Fairgrounds and the people viewing the parade would drive past the entries. They are planning this reverse parade as a backup plan, depending on what the state and county officials mandate as we get closer to parade day.
7:30am – Race Registration, Township Hall
8:30am – Firecracker 4-Mile Run, in front of the Methodist Church
10:10am – Parade leaves the Fairgrounds
12:00pm – JD Eicher performs on the Gazebo
