Oakland's Kids First Theatre Initiative Starting Workshops

By Oakland Center for the Arts January 26, 2021

The Oakland's Kids First Theatre Initiative is starting back slowly and safely, after not being able to produce shows for over a year. They are starting with three workshops with 2 performances at the end of each one. Because the space is so large programs can be held safely and carefully. All COVID-19 Safety protocols will be followed.

Because February is the month of love, the theme is "Love is all we need''.

Kids will work in small socially distanced groups, or one on one if the child feels more comfortable that way. There are a limited number spots in this musical review, and participation will be first come first serve.

The cost of the workshop is only $50.00 and there are discounts for multiple youth in a family. For families in financial difficulties due to COVID-19 full and partial scholarships are available.
