The Canfield Police Department is hosting a Christmas in July celebration on the village green on Thursday, July 25th from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m.
The department will be collecting new toys to donate to kids at Akron Children's Hospital. A curbside drop off will be available. Kids can come to the event - there will be Ident-a-kits, and the opportunity to meet McGruff the Crime Dog and the CPD K9 Rocky.
Items that are requested include:
- New Stuffed Animals (with tags attached)
- Art Supplies (crayons, markers, colored pencils)
- Coloring Books
- Play-Doh & kits
- Princess and Super Hero Dolls/Figures
- Lego Sets
Please, no candy, food, sharp objects, or small items that could be a choking hazard.
