Join the Mahoning Valley Historical Society for the 8th summer of Hands-On-History Open Houses at the Tyler History Center every Wednesday in July! Each week will feature a different local history theme. Hands-On activities include immersive programs, arts and crafts, games, toys, artifacts, dress-up clothing, and more! Activities are from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m.
The activities are FREE and you can take a museum tour for half price admission!
The Tyler History Center is located at 325 West Federal in downtown Youngstown. On street parking is free for two hours, additional parking is available in the daily lot on the west of the building for $2.50. Museum tours are half price during the open houses - adults $3.50, kids $2.50

Make ice cream like Harry Burt, fly with Mary Ann Campana, build masterpieces like P. Ross Berry, fight for justice like Harriet Taylor Upton, and so much more!
July 24: Mahoning Valley Progress
Learn about how life in the Mahoning Valley has changed over time and put your mark on the Valley’s future.
Join us as we celebrate the food, heritage, people, and events that have made living in the Mahoning Valley so much fun!
