Summer Music | A Roundup of Free Concerts in the Park

Where to hear live music in Youngstown and the Mahoning Valley this summer!

Summer is the perfect opportunity to expose your kiddos to live music! There are free concert series held almost every night of the week throughout parks in the Mahoning Valley.  There are concerts that highlight all the genres: jazz, country, blues, big band, classical, rock, Christian, polka, reggae - you name it, you'll probably find a concert.  Visit the Events Calendar to get details on who is playing each week at the various venues. 


Monday

Canfield Concerts on the Green

Free concerts on the village green at 7:00 p.m. Bring a lawn chair. 

If it rains, the concerts move inside the Canfield Methodist Church.

Live! At the Morley Pavilion

Mill Creek MetroParks summer concert series has an all-star line up of fantastic local and regional bands for your listening pleasure. Live! at the Morley is a family-friendly, alcohol-free event series at the Judge Leo P. Morley Pavilion in the Wick Recreation Area (1861 McCollum Rd., Youngstown, OH 44509). Food and beverages will be available for purchase. Grab a blanket or lawn chair and join us on the beautiful Morley Pavilion lawn this summer for free performances! Music on the Lawn - McKinley National Birthplace Memorial

Bring a blanket or lawn chair and join us on the grounds of the National McKinley Birthplace Memorial for a free performance.

Concerts begin at 6:30 p.m.


Music in the Park - Maag Theater at Boardman Park

Pack up your blankets and lawn chairs and head out to Boardman Park’s Maag Outdoor Theatre every Thursday.  All concerts are free and open to the public Concerts begin at 7:00 p.m.

Concerts in the Park - Woodland Park in McDonald

Come to the Ramsay Pavilion at McDonald's Woodland Park from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. and listen to some music.
