Easy Street Productions proudly presents the Ohio premiere of MATILDA the MUSICAL this Mother’s Day weekend in Powers Auditorium!
Based on the 1988 children’s novel by the same name, MATILDA is the story of an extraordinary girl genius armed with a sharp mind and a vivid imagination that dares to take a stand and change her destiny! Winner of five Tony Awards, seven Olivier Awards and TIME’s #1 Show of the year, MATILDA continues to thrill sold-out audiences of all ages around the world. Easy Street co-founder Maureen Collins will star as "Miss Trunchbull," the evil headmistress audiences will love to hate.
The musical will also feature 25 incredibly talented children ages 9 to 15 with 11-year-old AnnaSophia Viccari in the title role as Roald Dahl’s beloved magical misfit, "Matilda." Together, they’ll create a magical experience for grown-ups and mischief-makers alike!
Showtimes: May 10, 11 & 12, Friday and Saturday at 7:30, Sunday matinee at 2:30.
