It's Florida and even though it's the end of October it's still HOT! I was watching the weather on the news the other day and while it seems like most of the country is cooling down, Florida is still holding strong with temperatures in the 90s. I guess someone is not participating in Fall this season! I hear rumors of cooler weather coming next week for a couple of days, but I think overall us Floridians will have to wait a little bit longer for it to really feel like Fall.
I don't know about you, but when it's hot I love a nice refreshing salad. And, for the first time ever, Wendy's is introducing a Fall salad to their menu - the NEW Harvest Chicken Salad. I enjoy eating salads so I was pretty excited to try it out as it looked amazing! Hand-chopped fresh romaine, crisp iceberg lettuce and spring mix dressed with brown sugar walnuts, green and red apples, feta cheese, Applewood Smoked bacon and warm grilled chicken. Finish it off with a drizzle of savory Apple Cider Vinaigrette by Marzetti® Simply Dressed®.
